* Debbie Carroll, Vice President / Musicares

MISSION STATEMENT: MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares' services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly influence the health and welfare of the music community.

* Dr. Jerome Adams, US Surgeon General

The U.S. Surgeon General is the Nation’s Doctor, providing Americans with the best scientific information available on how to improve their health and reduce the risk of illness and injury. The Surgeon General oversees the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps, an elite group of over 6,000 uniformed officers who are public health professionals. The USPHS mission is to protect, promote, and advance the health of our nation.

* Patrick H. Dollard, President/CEO, Center for Discovery

The Center for Discovery® has been designated a New York State Center of Excellence in the Care and Treatment of Children with Complex Disabilities based on its internationally- recognized curriculum and programs, and its world-class school for children with complex disabilities, medical frailties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Patrick will also address sleep disorders related to trauma and veteran experiences.

* Dr. Albert (Skip) Rizzo, USC, Director for Medical Virtual Reality Institute for Creative Technologies

He is a psychologist and a recognized leader in using Virtual Reality in mental health.

Dr. Rizzo conducts research on the design, development and evaluation of virtual reality (VR) systems targeting the areas of clinical assessment, treatment rehabilitation and resilience. This work spans the domains of psychological, cognitive and motor functioning in both healthy and clinical populations. Rizzo, whose work using virtual reality-based exposure therapy to treat PTSD received the American Psychological Association’s 2010 Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Treatment of Trauma, is the associate director for medical virtual reality at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies.

* Dr. Keita M. Franklin, Chief Clinical Officer, Loyal Source Government Services

Dr. Franklin is a public health expert with extensive experience in education and family outreach on complex health issues including suicide prevention in civilian and military communities. With over 25 years of progressively responsible experience, Dr. Franklin has spent her career driving complex organizational change in the federal sector and improving the systems that provide care for our Nation’s military, family members, and veteran populations.

* Dr. Matthew Miller, Director, Suicide Prevention, Veterans Health Administration

In March 2020, Dr. Miller was sworn in as a Senior Executive and appointed officially as the Director, Suicide Prevention Program for VHAs Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) after serving as the Acting Director since June of 2019. Dr. Miller leads a team of 70+ FTE dedicated to the implementation and reinforcement of evidence-based community and clinical interventions addressing suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention for 19 million Veterans, nationwide and 140+ VA healthcare systems.

Dr. Miller previously served as Director of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL) and was privileged to oversee expansive growth of the crisis line; the VCL has become the world’s largest crisis call center.
